Light the night walk ~ Sept. 30th

Many of you may know that every year for the past couple of years we have done the"Light the Night" walk to help raise money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma society. The walk is short (about 3 miles) but what we gain is far from small. The light the night walk is named as such because it is done in the evening and we all get to carry illuminated balloons. The survivors have a different color then the rest. I wish Jim (my stepdad) could be walking with us with the balloon that screams I beat this thing but he lost his battle. We carry a "in memory" of balloon in his honor. The kids have been asking when Jim's balloon walk is.....I have to find it somewhere in my heart to tell them that it is now also to support one of their very best friends, David.
